The review claimed "it delves into the soul of the exile", and has "conflicts of identity and a search for self." I love books that analyze people and explore foreign cultures. This novel is the story of Mimi (Mi Chau) and her childhood friend Nam who live in the same crowded neighborhood in Vietnam. It can be a tough read at points, but is fairly straight forward overall. With every celebration they renewed their commitment and trust in the Almighty God. This book would be summed up on about 2 web pages of information. The 911 series is a wonderful read!I love them all!!!. Piazza also succeeds in bringing to life the music through creative use of analogies, thus going beyond explanations of the discussed recordings. Well, anyone who knows mythology well enough knows that Prometheus actually stole fire to introduce to mankind and was honored, but later punished because he made it so that the gods got the worst of the sacrifice. Take my word for it and trust that in terms of plot there are few as good as this one.Let me be clear that I have trashed many other books. I highly recommend this book.A special thank you Morgan
