. Martha Zimmerman developed a love for the Jewish people and their celebrations as a child. She and her husband passed along this tradition to their three now-adult childrenA must for the commited learner of Italian.I also agree with the Lock Haven review that the best Italian text books seem to come from the UK.. Additionally, it is phrased in clear and practical language the average college student should be able to understand. These ideas are built around three challenges: forgetting, borrowing and learning. A+++. And I personally know of person who cleared the 1st level of SNIA using this book.I really dont understand why everyone is harping about how is it written as long as it makes me understand the SAN technology:-). The verbal, grammar, and math portions are clearly explained and I can definitely tell what areas I need more practice in. It's the equivalent of two people getting close to a bed and then the drapes blowing in the wind. Most disturbing is the complete lack of humans. This got me to wondering how much of this book could be attributed to author Dietlof Reiche and how much to "Das Boot" translator John Brownjohn (which is, I might add, a fabulous name in and of itself). This is an ideal guidebook for anyone inter ested in this art form.. That coverage is justified because it is doubtful that this music would have found a national audience without the vibrant live music scene in the Fillmore and Avalon ballrooms."I've yet to read more remarkable insights into the Jewish feasts and holidays." -- Jan Markell, Olive Tree MinistriesA fabulous resourceshe respectfully maintains the Jewish tradition while including the Good Newsuser-friendly." -- Christian News Northwest, April 2004
